Introduction

Resight is an Atlassian Solution Partner and vendor of the Mapit for Jira app, available from the Atlassian Marketplace. This document strives to cover all relevant information about how we use our customer's data.

Collection of personal data through our website

When visiting our website, we collect the following information from you:

  • Analytics information: we use Google Analytics to learn more about how our visitors interact with our web page

  • Cookies: Resight may use cookies to collect information.

Collection of personal data for Mapit customers (or potential customers)

Resight does not currently provide a Mapit app for Atlassian's cloud products, and therefore no personal data about Mapit end users is stored by Resight.

Data retrieved through Atlassian Marketplace

When purchasing an academic or commercial license of Mapit, or generating an evaluation license, you accept the following:

  • Resight will receive personal information (email address, full name, location) about the license's registered technical contact(s) from Atlassian

  • Resight may send emails to these contacts containing information such as tips and best practices.

According to GDPR regulations, customers can request the removal, rectification or review of this personal information by submitting a request in the Mapit Service Desk, or by sending an email to post@resight.no.

Support

Customers with valid maintenance may request support for the Mapit app through our Mapit Service Desk . When registering for an account in our service desk, you agree to the following personal information being stored about you:

  • Email address

  • Full name (optional)

  • Personal data explicitly uploaded to service desk requests by customers as part of their support requests

The personal information is stored for the sole purpose of resolving support requests.

According to GDPR regulations, customers can request the removal, rectification or review of this personal information by submitting a support request.
